The Lion King is based on the 1994 Oscar-winning Disney animated film with the same name. When he comes back to the kingdom years later, Simba sees how the savannah has declined under his uncle’s power and decides to take what is rightfully his and confronts Scar.
Simba survives, but Scar makes him believe that he is guilty for his father’s death, so Simba runs far away. When the young prince Simba is born, his evil uncle Scar loses his chance at becoming king, so Scar plans to kill Simba and his father, the King Mufasa to claim the power.
